Yinyee Tai is a graphic designer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and currently located in Singapore. When she is not freelancing, she is drawing cute Asian-cultured vectors which keeps her happy, and hopes that her cute vectors can be like a cup of coffee that perk you up on dreary Mondays. Here are some awesome artwork pieces by illustrator Alec Strang. Strang is a recent graduate from The London College of Communication. He describes his illustrations as portraits of the darker more fantastical depth of his imagination. He uses mechanical pencils to produce his predominantly black and white images in an attempt to give his characters a feeling of charm and immediacy. Jeaneen Carlino is an artist from Los Angeles, CA. She attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and obtained her BFA in Illustration in 2007. Her artwork seems to be arranged with abstract thoughts full of affection and emotions. I find her style especially original and unique. (more…)
Back in December of 2009 I posted an article titled “Bonnier Mag+ Prototype – The Magazine of the Near Future.” This near future is now a reality, Bonnier just informed me of the release of their first digital magazine. They have taken the first step towards their Mag+ vision by building a Popular Science digital magazine for the iPad.
